As part of my Virginia Tech coursework, I completed a Management Consulting Capstone class.
During this course, I participated in a fascinating group project, doing real-time consulting for an existing, well-established company, Black & Veatch (B&V).
Although the firm specializes in global consulting and construction, we worked specifically with the Health Solutions team to implement modular healthcare opportunities.

Throughout the semester, we frequently met with the B&V Health Solutions team to discuss their goals, and to clarify any data or research project questions. We conducted an extensive analysis of the health solutions industry and obtained details on B&V’s direct/indirect competitors. Using our research, and collected industry data, we were able to offer concrete suggestions on how to improve B&V’s competitiveness in the mobile and modular healthcare industry.
At the end of the project, we presented our findings and recommendations to the entire B&V Health Solutions team.
