Hello! My name is Alexis Potak.

In May 2023, I graduated cum laude from Virginia Tech where I double-majored in Management Consulting & Analytics and Marketing Management.

Due to my studies and work experience, I am well-versed in social media management, marketing strategies and presentations, corporate partnerships, ticket sales, brand awareness, problem-solving, client communication, data analytics, project management, and consulting.

Following my graduation, I became an Inside Sales Representative for a Major League Baseball (MLB) team. While working for the Washington Nationals, I sold season tickets, group tickets, and nightly suite packages. 

I then worked as the Marketing Associate for AEB Associates. This consulting firm contracts with US government intelligence agencies.

I am currently a Mass Communications Analyst at GDIT. This role includes planning and executing the U.S. Navy Fleet Weeks through the country.

Previously, I have held positions where I was responsible for creating, editing and scheduling marketing content, such as social media, blogs, and website/print copy. I have helped past clients find a suitable voice and online presence, according to their specific brand and desired audience. I have also managed the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for several client's websites.
